Vacation

Vacation.....
It is finally here. We have not had a "vacation" this year, yes we have traveled all over the SouthEast but that is racing and that is lots of work.

The last beach trip was with meme. She wanted the whole family, and yes everyone to go together to the beach. Well we needed to be able to sleep 19 people comfortably. I found this
amazing house 1 block from the beach that had it's own pool. WOW is all I can say. I do believe it was the most amazing time we have ever had. Meme was very sick and this is really the last memories that my kids will have of her, but they are great ones. I had been her caretaker, and it was not an easy job. She was very independent up until January of 2007. So losing her was very hard for me. She was not always nice to everyone but we knew she loved us.

Anyway, so we are headed back to the same beach. Mom, dad, kam and us 4 are headed out tomorrow morning. And we need this break. The last year has been the hardest year of my life. Paul has been having some health issues, and work for him has been terribly slow. The racing has been stressful. Just a really bad, crazy year. Family members have had major health issues and friends with sick children. So I am in bad need of VEGE time. I plan on spending lots of time in prayer, working on my Masterlife stuff and playing with the kidos. We are taking the bikes, and I plan on riding several miles each day. Hope everyone enjoys their fall break as we will be trying very hard to.
